The French Cooking Experience Opening in April 2026

Our vision is simple: to bring together the rich history of Versailles with the incredible culinary offerings of France. And we’re thrilled to announce that this vision is coming to life. The French Cooking Experience is coming to Versailles in April 2026!
Space is being created at this very moment for a new cooking atelier focused around classical French cuisine and Versailles. We will be bringing to you walking tours of the fabulous markets, classes featuring fresh ingredients from local Versailles artisans, and a rounded gastronomical experience complete with elegantly plated dishes. We will delve into the history of Versailles, share incredible stories, and provide you with the skills you need to recreate our incredible dishes, sweet and savory alike, at home.
Founded by a mother with a deep love of food and family, the French Cooking Experience does not stop at elegance and history. We will be bringing you special classes that are specifically adapted to your little ones, which provide an opportunity to bond and create memories, as well as tools for your little ones to learn the art of cooking from an approachable, child-friendly perspective. As a little treat for the littles, our cute mascot Filou, modelled after King Louis XV’s favorite dog, will make an appearance to help them celebrate their achievements in the kitchen.
The French Cooking Experience will feature a lavish Victorian-style waiting area complete with refreshments where our guests can relax before and after their class. Our two kitchens are being carefully designed for small groups to ensure that every one of our guests is able to participate, and to be guided by our Chefs. And of course, we are working to ensure that on the inside and outside, our premises are fully accessible.
As walls are being demolished and new fixtures installed, paint is being rolled on, and signs are being put up, we are excitedly working to polish our menus and bring the work together. We cannot wait to welcome you in April 2026, and will keep you updated on social media of our progress.
